2026 Chapter Contest

Location:
“Twenty-Fve” boys and “Fifteen” girls from the Sacramento Diocese region, ages 9 to 14, were named local 2026 District champions of the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship and have earned the right to compete at the 2026 Northern Chapter level. “Six” of the sixteen Districts in the Sacramento Chapter were represented and sponsored the local competitions. All youngsters ages 9 to 14, boys and girls were eligible to participate.

Winners will advance to the State Championship on March 21st at Los Banos High School, 1966 South 11th St, Los Banos, CA 93635
We have much “gratitude” and “very thankful” to all of our brother Knights and Sir Knights that helped with the score keeping, backup score keeping, line judges, and ball retrievers for each level of competitions and age group. Special Thank You to brothers Bill Manos (13672), Bob Alviso (6197), Cris Galia (6197), Tim Whalen (6197), Tim Allen (6197), Allan Starosciak (6197), along brothers from several Council in the Northern Chapter for helping with Setup, Registration/Check-in and clean up. There were so many brother Knights from all of our “16” Districts and associated Councils within our Northern Chapter in attendance to support and help in any way that they could.
