Ceremonials

The Knights of Columbus Ceremony advances new and existing members through the lessons of Charity, Unity and Fraternity required of a Third-Degree member. The ceremony is normally done in person. However, Supreme offers these ceremonies online. By clicking the link “Exemplification On-Demand” and “View Now”, you will be able to register for the ceremony..

As your Ceremonials Chairman, my Council recommendations are the following:

  1. Create your Council CUF team and schedule dates or take online. See CUF team spreadsheet example(attached).
  2. Promote and advertise CUF dates on Council website, newsletter, church bulletin, and send your CUF dates to Brother Will Friesen, DD#9 for our Chapter website calendar.
  3. Invite other Councils to attend your CUF and if possible, hold a reception after the ceremony. Ask two 4th Degree Honor Guard members to attend in their regalia.
  4. Invite your Field Agent to attend and meet with new Knights at the reception as that counts towards your Founders Award.
  5. Invite two 4th Degree Honor Guard members to attend in their regalia. The CUF Presiding Officer reads the new CUF Introduction of the 4th Degree script.
